Renowned economist and CEO of Real Vision, Raoul Pal discusses the latest developments in the cryptocurrency market. The economist says layer-2 solution Polygon (MATIC) and a pair of Ethereum rival altcoin projects are on the verge of significant developments.
The macro guru still trusts this altcoin project!
Raoul Pal shared a new video in which he comments on the market in the light of the latest developments. The renowned economist says Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), and Avalanche (AVAX) are driving crypto adoption by creating their own niches in the industry. As you follow on Kriptokoin.com, Solana has been going through some tough times lately after the collapse of FTX. However, the altcoin is making deals with Big Tech companies. Furthermore, she is opening her own retail store. According to Pal, these developments give him the edge despite a tough year in terms of SOL price. In this context, the economist makes the following assessment:
I’m really interested in Solana. Because I think the team is extraordinary at what they do. What they’re doing is building a consumer chain. Now, there are many opponents on this issue. Because it’s down 95%. Also, he’s stuck with this whole FTX thing. However, I think it’s clean now. Because they all had to sell. You now have this Blockchain with individual adoption that deals with Meta, Google and all sorts of other.
“They are unlocking something big!”
Raoul Pal reminds that Solana also made a deal with Discord. Also, waiting for more to come. “I think they really understood where their place is,” says Pal.
It’s great to have a store in Manhattan that sells Solana products. Also, cell phone, who knows where it goes? But I think they unlock something big.
Raoul Pal then puts both Polygon and Avalanche in the same category as Solana. He also says they are on the verge of changing the digital asset landscape by focusing on real-world asset tokenization. Pal expresses these views as follows:
I think Polygon employees unlock something big too. Another super fast Blockchain. Really interesting and a big competitor of Solana, John Wu of Avalanche focuses on other things like real world beings. ‘How do we tokenize property?’ seeks an answer. There is another trend coming. It’s like it’s always coming. However, it naturally takes time. There are a lot of middlemen to get rid of and a lot of legal problems to overcome. However, these are all coming.
