Germany’s Foundation for the Conservation of Nature (WWF) announced today that it will publish an NFT collection to protect endangered animals and their habitats.
The collection, which will include endangered animals and will be named “Fungible Animals”, will work with NFT artists Bosslogic, Freehand Profit, Eric Peters, Vinzent Britz, Lea Fricke, Romulo Kuranyi, Andres Ribon, Rocket&Wink, Etienne Kiefer and Anna Rupprecht.
The number of NFTs for each artist will depend on the current population of endangered animals. For example, there will be 290 NFTs to represent the last remaining 290 Giant ibis in the world.
WWF Germany to broadcast NFTs via Polygon Network
Sales of the WWF collection will open on November 2 at Polygon. WWF’s NFT launch partners include Publicis Groupe, Meet Pablo, Max Penk, MoonPay, Polygon, Unifty and Moonwolf.
