The CEO of AMC Entertainment opened a Twitter poll on whether the company accepts Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a payment method.
Adam Aron, CEO of long-established cinema chain AMC, conducted a poll on SHIB on Twitter on Friday. The survey asked users if they would like to make payments with SHIB at AMC:
“As you know, you can now buy AMC gift cards using cryptocurrencies and our IT group is writing code so that we can soon accept online payments with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin, among others. Would you like us to include the Shiba Inu?”

The survey currently continues with approximately 80% yes. However, there are still four days until the end of the survey. So far, 122,631 votes have been cast for the poll.
AMC is the world’s largest cinema chain. As of March 31, the company operates approximately 950 movie theaters and 10,500 screens worldwide.
The AMC CEO said in September that the chain would accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash for online ticket payments by the end of the year. It also announced earlier this month that AMC digital gift cards can be purchased with Dogecoin and other crypto assets.
The meme crypto asset SHIB, on the other hand, has seen tremendous growth in the past month, gaining 960% in value. SHIB, which has risen by 4% in the last 24 hours, is trading at $0.00007429 at the time of publication.
