Cryptocurrency analyst Lark Davis lists Ethereum and two altcoin projects among his top investment choices for 2022. In this article, we take a look at Davis’ analysis on which he bases his predictions. Of course, keep in mind that these are not absolutes.
Analyst raises the bar on leading altcoin project
Davis tells his 475,000 YouTube subscribers that Ethereum and two altcoin projects will deliver “good returns for investors” next year. In the case of Ethereum, the crypto analyst thinks that the second largest coin by market capitalization could reach a five-digit price in 2022:
I believe Ethereum will reach 5-digit price and at the end of this cycle we can see a $20,000 Ethereum at the tops.

According to Lark Davis, whose analysis we shared as , several catalysts are helping the bullish situation for Ethereum. The analyst continues:
As part of the transition to PoS, there will be a 90% reduction in annual emissions of newly created Ethereum. Ethereum will be deflationary next year. In the next, possibly five to ten years, we will be back to below 100 million Ethereum.
- Ethereum supply is currently 118.88 million.
Lark Davis, we also take a look at EGLD
Next up is Elrond (EGLD), a scalable Blockchain platform suitable for businesses. Factors contributing to Davis’ rise in Elrond include increased activity on the blockchain platform, which has been helped by the launch of products like Maiar DEX, similar to the Ethereum-based decentralized exchange Uniswap (UNI). Davis says:
It’s finally coming to life, I think a very exciting time for Elrond. Finally we saw them launching Maiar exchange… like Uniswap of Elrond which will now trade USDC (USD Coin) to Elrond (EGLD)… We also have DEX support for Elrond.
Next up is Polygon (MATIC), a scaling solution for Ethereum designed to allow widespread adoption of decentralized applications (Dapp). Davis says bullish factors at Polygon include increased usage and growth-based acquisitions:
Polygon MATIC is starting to burn. Definitely important news for the MATIC price in the long run. So users are increasing, more powerful than ever, new purchases and more apps are coming. I’m optimistic about polygon. It goes for $10, just a question of when.
