A discount of 63 cents is expected in the gasoline group, effective from midnight tonight. Finally, 61 and 67 cents were raised for the liter price of gasoline. On average, a liter of gasoline is sold for 19 liras and 51 kurus in Istanbul, 19 liras for 73 kurus in Ankara, and 19 liras for 69 kurus in İzmir.
NO CHANGES IN THE ENGINE
A price change is not expected in the diesel group. Prices, on the other hand, had increased by 77 cents at the latest. Diesel prices are offered for sale at 22.06 TL per liter in Istanbul, 22.22 TL in Ankara and 22.35 TL in İzmir.
NEBATI SAID ‘WE ARE TRYING NOT TO REFLECT THE INCREASE’
In his statement on oil and natural gas prices, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati said, “We are working hard not to reflect the cost increases created by the price fluctuations in global oil and natural gas prices throughout the year to our citizens as much as possible.”
