World-renowned economist and known as one of the opponents of Bitcoin (BTC), Steve Hanke continues to criticize El Salvador.
El Salvador legally accepted Bitcoin in September. While this caused great excitement all over the world, it also garnered criticism. Chief among these critics is Steve Hanke. Hanke recently made a statement about Chivo, the country’s cryptocurrency wallet.

Hanke, expressing that Chivo is insecure and vulnerable to hackers, said:
“It’s been two months since the start. Nayib Bukele’s Bitcoin law and its problems are everywhere. Chivo wallet remains unreliable and vulnerable to hackers. No wonder Salvadorans don’t use BTC. Salvadorans don’t think the coolest dictator is cool. ”
