Tesla CEO Elon Musk jokingly addressed the issue of cryptocurrency scams. Musk emphasized the issue of gift fraud.
Dogecoin (DOGE) co-founder Billy Markus said last night, “There is no promise in the crypto money industry, except for scammers. People who tell the truth will tell you it’s all about risk. Your profit comes only from other people who take their own risk. If you lose money, you pay someone else’s risk. After all, it’s your choice,” he tweeted.
Responding to Markus’ warning about cryptocurrency scams, Musk once again drew attention to the prevalence of cryptocurrency gift scams.

“Perfect Answer”
Musk jokingly criticized Dogecoin’s co-founder Billy Markus, using the phrases “if I send you 2 DOGEs, would you send me 1 DOGE later”. Markus said Musk’s statements were the “perfect answer” to his warning about the risks.
As it is known, scammers usually try to deceive people by using the names of celebrities, giving a wallet address and saying “if you send so much crypto money, we will send you this much back”. This is the point Musk makes.
You may also remember that in July 2020, Musk’s Twitter account was temporarily hacked to advertise a Bitcoin giveaway scam during the biggest hack in the history of the social media platform.
