Cheng has a 13% stake in GameStop, whose shares skyrocketed at the beginning of 2021.

Earlier this month, GameStop started looking for an accounting manager with a focus on blockchain and NFT. Prior to that, he posted new job vacancies related to various cryptocurrencies.
The company announced in May that it has started building an Ethereum (ETH)-based NFT platform.
