Major toy and entertainment company Hasbro has partnered with the Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) blockchain to publish its first NFT collection.
Released for a limited time via Hasbro Pulse, the collection includes the Power Rangers series.
Kwamina Crankson, general manager of Hasbro Pulse, said in a statement;
“We are excited to partner with WAX to deliver the first NFT collection with Hasbro’s Power Rangers line. The WAX platform provides fans with an easy entry point with NFTs and digital collectibles. Now fans will be able to obtain the special edition Dino Megazord collection via the blockchain. They will have the opportunity to expand their collection with the unique Power Rangers NFT. ”
WAX co-founder William Quigley spoke as follows;
“We are growing with global gaming and entertainment company Hasbro to integrate Power Rangers, one of the pioneers and iconic brands in NFT innovation with WAX, into the blockchain ecosystem. Our VIRL technology is changing the way people trade collectibles. ”
A WAX account holder with usable vIRL NFT will have a Redemption token placed in their wallet on November 1, 2021 and will have until November 8, 2021 to use it for the Special Edition Megazord.
