Kevin O’Leary previously said he would reinvest in digital assets only if regulators told him “what is and is not possible in the industry”. He changed his mind, apparently.
The famous investor Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC) and Hedera (HBAR) said that he is interested in projects and thinks that they will yield profits in the long run.
O’Leary previously had a tumultuous relationship with cryptoassets. Known for his negative attitude towards the industry in 2019, the investor described Bitcoin as “garbage”.
O’Leary later explained that he was not against Bitcoin and that he had heard him say that he had allocated 3% of his portfolio to Bitcoin.
Speaking to CNBC recently, O’Leary stated that he will not invest in digital assets again without talking to regulators.
O’Leary again went the opposite direction and said that his cryptos are different from other people’s. According to him, cryptos are “software development”. For this reason, Solana sets Polygon and Hedera apart:
