Having obtained a license from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) in 2013 to establish a bank with a capital of 300 million dollars, Rabobank started its operations in Turkey on November 3, 2004, serving large-scale corporate customers operating in the food and agriculture sector. The assets of the bank, which has 31 employees and no lube, was TL 2.2 billion.
Liberyum Danışmanlık, which acquired Rabobank’s unit in Turkey, is known as a subsidiary of crypto exchange company BTCTurk.
HDI will have a 50 percent share
On the other hand, Competition visa was granted for Fiba Pension, which is owned by Fiba Holding. In the statement made by the Authority, it was stated that “The acquisition of sole control of Fiba Emeklilik ve Hayat AŞ by HDI Sigorta AŞ, controlled by Talanx AG, and the establishment of a joint venture between HDI Sigorta AŞ and Fibabanka AŞ.”
Fibabanka and HDİ Sigorta will have a 50 percent stake in the company named Fiba Sigorta.
