Passport fees increased by 123 percent as of January 1, 2023. The revaluation rate was determined as 122.93 percent this year. After this record, the passport fee for more than 3 years increased from 1,478 TL to 3,295 TL.
One of the services with the highest increase in the new year was the passport. The revaluation rate, which determines the increase in fines, fees and some taxes for 2023, was determined as 122.93 percent. The passport cost was also based on 501 liras.

According to the General Communiqué of the Law on Fees published in the Official Gazette, for 2023,
While the fee for passports up to 6 months is 309.40, it is 689.70 liras with an increase of 122.91 percent.
For those with a 1-year term, it is 452.30 liras, while it is 1008.30 liras with a 122.92 percent increase.
While it is 738.40 TL for those with a 2-year term, it is 1646.10 liras with an increase of 122.92 percent.

For those with a duration of more than 3 years, it will be 3 thousand 295.50 liras with an increase of approximately 223 percent, while it is 478.30 thousand.
The President did not use his authority to reduce taxes or penalties by half the revaluation rate or increase it up to 50 percent.
The revaluation rate is the average price increase rate in the Producer Prices General Index of the State Institute of Statistics in October of the year to be revaluated (including October) compared to the same period of the previous year. This rate is announced by the Ministry of Finance in the Official Gazette.
