Thailand’s shopping mall giant Central Retail Corp. has launched its own cryptocurrency tests for use in the company’s malls and restaurants.
According to Bloomberg, the largest mall developer in Thailand, Central Retail Corp. is testing its own cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is planned to be used by employees in the company’s shopping malls and restaurants.
It is stated that the crypto money named C-Coin was distributed to 80,000 employees of the company. According to Central Tech’s Kowin Kulruchakorn, the company may make it available to citizens after obtaining important data about how the cryptocurrency is performing in real life.
It is still unclear how C-Coin will be distributed to the public. However, according to Kowin, the cryptocurrency can be listed on exchanges and be available for trading.
