Polygon co-founder Mihailo Bjelic proposed to bring Uniswap v3 to Polygon last month on the Uniswap governance portal. Upon this proposal, the Uniswap community participated in a vote for the proposal.
As a result of the survey, more than 72 million UNI owners approved this proposal and as a result Uniswap announced their support for Polygon. Starting today, Uniswap users can swap tokens using the Polygon blockchain through Uniswap.
According to data from The Block Research, Uniswap is the largest decentralized exchange in the market, with a total trading volume of $600 billion on v2 and v3 platforms this year.
UNI, the native token of the Uniswap platform, is trading at $ 15.78 at the time of writing, according to CoinGecko data.
