Cryptocurrency whales are buying these three digital assets, according to Santiment.
Santiment tells 120,200 Twitter followers that whales have bought 41% more CRO in the past two months. CRO, Crypto. com is the cryptocurrency that powers the payment, trading and financial services platform. Santiment defines whales as assets holding 100,000 to 10 million CRO tokens.
In addition to Santiment, we’ve seen frequent CRO purchases by whales lately in the Whale Stats data. In fact, according to the data at the time of writing, top 1000 Ethereum whales continue to hold CROs in wallets.
In a new report, Santiment reviewed UMA, a platform that allows the creation of Ethereum-based tokens:
“Uma has dropped -53% since its biggest local peak six weeks ago, but key major stakeholders of the ETH-based project continued to add more to their bags. When such a price drop happens, when big money holders actually add more tokens to their purse, it’s a promising sign that it could be bullish as markets start to turn positive. ”

Another altcoin hoarded by whales is UNI, the native token of decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Uniswap. Whales with 10,000 and one million UNIs continue to add, despite UNI’s weak price action, according to Santiment.
“Uniswap is one of the key DeFi (decentralized finance) projects that saw a really big spike in the first half of 2021, but saw a decline in the second half. Despite the correction, major addresses added more to their bags, only holding +4.1% more in December. ”
