On the last trading day of the year, gold and dollar prices continue to rise.
After the CBRT announced support for TL deposits last week, the dollar started to rise again after falling sharply from its historical peak of 18.4 to 10, hovering around 13 liras.

Starting the week at 638 liras, gram gold started to rise at the beginning of the week with the rise of the dollar. With the dollar climbing above 13, grams of gold, which rose above 750 lira, was traded at 768 lira when the clock showed 10.30 on Friday.
At 11:00 on the last day of the year, the quarter gold purchase price was traded at 1228 lira and the selling price at 1255 lira.
