XRP Adoption Slowed by Litigation
The news was shared by @MackAttackXRP, a prominent member of the XRP community. Looking at this news, we can say that the adoption of XRP continues. As it is known, last summer it was reported that the two largest cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as XRP, will be accepted by Paraguay’s Universidad Americana as payment for training courses and scientific degrees.
XRP adoption seems to have slowed due to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s lawsuit against Ripple Labs. In January, multiple cryptocurrency exchanges turned their backs on this cryptocurrency, suspending XRP trading. These exchanges include Coinbase, Binance U.S., Bittrex, and Bitstamp.
After these events, the adoption rates of XRP also decreased.
