Miami-Dade County, located in Miami, Florida, will set up a task force to conduct a feasibility study on paying taxes with crypto assets.
Crypto asset moves continue to come from Miami. According to an announcement on Wednesday, the crypto-asset task force will examine the payment of taxes and other goods and services with crypto-assets. The group will also explore other policies where the use of cryptoassets is advantageous and make recommendations.
As we have mentioned before, the city of Miami has taken and continues to take important Bitcoin steps with Bitcoin supporter Mayor Francis Suarez. The state of Wyoming, on the other hand, is another place that has taken pro-crypto-asset strides, and in April passed legislation to legally recognize DAOs, companies whose management is based on smart contracts and where decision-making is shared across the organization.
