Latin American crypto asset trading platform Bitso has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with São Paulo Futebol Clube, one of the oldest clubs in Brazil.
With the sponsorship agreement starting this month, Bitso’s logo will appear on São Paulo’s jersey. Also, part of the club’s stadium will be called Bitso.

While sponsorships of crypto companies are increasing day by day in Europe and the USA, this situation is progressing a little more slowly in Latin America.
José Molina, Bitso’s Vice President of Marketing, has not disclosed the financial terms of the deal. Molina also stated that within six months, the club will be able to accept crypto for tickets and other products.
Emphasizing that Bitso operates in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico and has a total of 3.7 million users, Molina also announced that Bitso aims to become the largest stock exchange operating in Brazil this year.
