Launched as a “search engine” for blockchains, The Graph (GRT) has announced its beta integration with NEAR Protocol (NEAR), a scalable and inexpensive Tier 1 blockchain.
Graph, an indexing protocol designed to organize public blockchain data and make it accessible to users, has announced its beta integration with NEAR Protocol, a Layer 1 blockchain protocol.
The integration will allow developers at NEAR to access The Graph’s blockchain data indexing. Indexers will be able to create and run subgraphs to index data to the Near Protocol.
NEAR’s indexing and querying layer can now become decentralized, just like its blockchain layer. This integration between NEAR and The Graph could be an important step on the road to multi-blockchain.
Erik Trautman, CEO of the NEAR Foundation, said about the integration:
The Graph announced its partnership with NEAR as well as Polkadot (DOT), Solano (SOL) and Celo (CELO).
