The crypto industry, which also diversifies within itself, is at the center of millions of people. The sector, which is generally approached for the purpose of investment and protection from inflation, has also become a playground for fraudsters. Solidus announced that from the beginning of January to the beginning of December, 117,629 cryptocurrencies were created for fraudulent purposes.
The Amount of Cryptocurrency Created for Fraud Purposes Increases

Blockchain risk monitoring organization Solidus Labs has prepared its cryptocurrency report for this year. According to the report, scammers created more than 350 cryptocurrencies per day this year.
According to Solidus’ report, 83,400 cryptocurrencies were created for fraudulent purposes last year. This year, a 41 percent increase was observed, reaching the level of 117,629.
The report revealed that the most fraudulent cryptocurrency was created by BNB Chain. Solidus considers 12 percent of all BNB Chain tokens to be fraudulent.
