Tron Foundation has merged with NFT marketplace APENFT for a $100 million fund to support NFT projects and digital artists.
APENFT, founded by Tron founder Justin Sun and operating on the Tron network, creates a fund called Art Dream. Sun explained that the fund aims to collect meaningful stories and accelerate financial and cultural inclusion in the metaverse. Artists will be able to receive advice, support and guidance on copyright protection and other legal issues from the Tron Foundation and APENFT.
The first theme to which applications will be received will be on “Second Life”. The fund is asking digital talent who’ve discovered Second Life to apply. The Tron Foundation also announced last August that it has partnered with APENFT and WINKLink to launch the $300 million Tron Arcade fund that will invest in GameFi projects over the next three years.
