South Korea’s leading companies such as Samsung, LG and Shinhan Card have started to implement their plans that include NFT technology.
At the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week, Samsung introduced its new NFT-enabled Smart TV series. After technology giant Samsung, LG also announced that it has started working on NFT features for TVs.
LG Follows Its Rival Samsung in NFT-Enabled TV Technology
LG, one of Samsung’s biggest competitors, will follow in the footsteps of Samsung and add NFT support to its TVs.
Alongside the ability to purchase and display on Samsung’s NFT-enabled TVs, potential buyers of digital artworks will be able to review an NFT’s history and blockchain metadata on the platform. Details on whether Samsung’s NFT platform was built in-house or in partnership with another company were not disclosed.
