Chinese blockchain journalist Colin Wu tweeted that Bitcoin whales have bought more than 5,300 BTC.
Wu shared BitinfoCharts data on his Twitter account today. According to the data, three of the top 50 Bitcoin whales bought 5,322 BTC in the drop experienced today. The 33rd largest whale adds 3,000 BTC; Whale 34 bought 1,455 Bitcoin and whale 3 bought 867 BTC. This amount corresponds to 5,322 Bitcoins worth approximately $225 million.

Some whales prefer to sell rather than buy. The 32nd largest Bitcoin whale sold almost the same amount of 4,250 BTC while these huge purchases took place. Wu underlined that all these wallets do not belong to any crypto-asset trading platform.
As it is known, Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline due to the announcement of the Fed minutes and the reflection of the internet interruptions due to the riots in Kazakhstan as a decrease in the Bitcoin hash rate. Bitcoin fell from the level of $ 46,000, where it was traded, to the level of $ 41,000. Bitcoin, which managed to reclaim the level of $ 42,000 at the time of publication, is trading at $ 42, 300.
