Türk Telekom, which gave its name to the opera house located at the ‘heart’ of Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), enabled art lovers to experience innovative technologies at AKM and Beyoğlu Culture Road throughout 2022. Providing WiFi experience to art lovers inside AKM and on Beyoğlu Cultural Road, Türk Telekom offered privileged experiences to its visitors in the “Türk Telekom Lounge” and “Robot Cafe”.
As a supporter of the Beyoğlu Culture Road Festival, Türk Telekom brought together famous names with music lovers, and brought together the most popular films of the last period with the visitors at the ‘Türk Telekom Prime Open Air Cinema’. Adopting the principle of accessible life for everyone, Türk Telekom also launched the Sesli Steps application for visually and hearing impaired art lovers at AKM in 2022.

Being one of the supporters of Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festivals within the scope of the Culture Road project initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to add brand value to Turkey, Türk Telekom performs a total of 37 musicians and music groups open to the public and free of charge with the concerts and events it organizes throughout the year. It brought music lovers together at the Open Air Stage. More than 100 thousand participants took part in the festivals. With Türk Telekom’s free application ‘Voice Steps’, which can be downloaded to mobile devices, art lovers with visual and hearing impairments have an experience that transcends barriers in the indoor and outdoor spaces of AKM, accompanied by the guidance of the application.
In addition, children with low vision who participate in various workshops and events held at Atatürk Cultural Center as part of Türk Telekom’s ‘Sunlight’ project come together with their peers and learn how to express themselves through the light of art. Çağla Kıcır, one of the children who participated in Türk Telekom’s Sunlight project for children with low vision and who can use her eyesight with early intervention training, gave an unforgettable piano performance at AKM on 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
