Banking giant JPMorgan analyst Kenneth Worthington said in a note to clients that the crypto markets and industry are poised for greater adoption from mainstream investors and companies this year.
JPMorgan highlighted that 2022 has the potential to be “the year of the blockchain bridge or financial tokenization.”
Regarding Bitcoin (BTC), the bank stated that its good and robust design as a modern store of value is an important factor in increasing confidence in Bitcoin. However, according to Worthington, the asset still falls short of gold due to its limited history. In addition, it was stated that the increasing volatility of Bitcoin prevented it from being “a currency”.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $ 41,646 according to CoinMarketCap data.
