Christopher Vecchio, senior money strategist at DailyFX, said that 2022 is very unlikely to be a good year for meme tokens.
Christopher Vecchio, senior currency strategist at IG Group subsidiary DailyFX, recently told Yahoo Finance that he would be very surprised if Shiba Inu and Dogecoin had a good 2022.
Stating that he believes only Elon Musk can save these meme tokens, Vecchio shared the following on Twitter;
“I would be very surprised if people like Elon Musk don’t pump meme tokens on Twitter and Dogecoin, Shiba Inu have a good year. ”
Vecchio believes that even though Bitcoin is on the decline, it will be the least affected cryptocurrency. However, the analyst predicts that altcoins and meme coins will see “deeper” losses.
Vecchio said 2021 was a “successful year” for cryptocurrency incentive, but expects things to be significantly different in 2022.
