Yuga Labs Recruits Activision Blizzard President
Web3 startup Yuga Labs has recruited former Activision Blizzard president and COO Daniel Alegre. Alegre will be the new CEO of Yuga Labs from the first half of 2023.
Alegre attracted attention with an impressive resume. The new CEO previously held a leadership position at Bertelsmann. He has also served as the head of various international divisions at Google for over 16 years.
Alegre most recently became president of Activision Blizzard, the powerful gaming company behind Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and more. The powerful name will now serve as the CEO of crypto giant Yuga Labs.
NFT and the Web3 company said its new CEO “brings deep expertise in areas critical to Yuga’s ambitions for an immersive Web3 world.”
