Bulawayo24, one of Zimbabwe’s local news agencies, stated that the Zimbabwe government is in talks with the private sector to legalize Bitcoin.

El Salvador made history by officially adopting Bitcoin earlier this year.
The issue of legally recognizing Bitcoin remains on the agenda. In the past days, the same rumors have been put forward for Brazil. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador stated that he strongly opposes the idea of Bitcoin being officially accepted.
