After the sharp fall in the exchange rate last week, gold and dollar prices started the new week with an increase. While the dollar started the first trading day of the week at 11.50 lira, gram gold started above 650 lira.
Starting Monday, December 27 at 1807 dollars, ounce of gold saw the lowest level of 1805 dollars and the highest 1811 dollars during the day. As of 12:00 pm, an ounce of gold finds buyers at 1806 dollars.
Gram gold, which closed last week at 626 lira, started the day at 670 lira on Monday. When the clock showed 12:00, it was traded at 660 liras.
At the same time of the day, the quarter gold purchase price was 1073 lira and the selling price was 1120 lira.
Dollar and Euro Starts Week With Rising
After the sharp declines experienced with the announcement of the President’s dollar-protected deposit system, the dollar and the euro started the new week with an increase.
While the dollar started the new week with an increase from 11.50 liras, the euro started above 13 liras. When the clocks showed 12:00, the dollar was traded at 11.28 lira and the euro at 12.77 lira.
