Facebook Novi wallet codes, which emerged from the beta codes of WhatsApp, revealed the idea that WhatsApp can also accept payments with crypto money.
The popular messaging application WhatsApp improves itself day by day and adds new features to its platform. In November 2020, WhatsApp introduced ‘Payments’ support to encourage users in India to transfer money via WhatsApp.
Thanks to this feature, which has been translated into Turkish as ‘Payments’, users can send and receive money to each other via the WhatsApp application.
Some codes of the “Novi” digital wallet application, which was implemented by Facebook and can be sent via USDP crypto money, appeared in the WhatsApp application.
Screenshot shared by WABetainfo shows that Novi wallet in WhatsApp app will allow users to add bank account or link a card, withdraw funds to bank account and see transactions and balance.
Tested only in the USA and Guatemala, the Novi wallet was jointly developed with PAXOS. PAXOS, as it will be remembered, supplies the PAX Gold cryptocurrency and the PAX digital dollar, later called USDP.
It is unknown when WhatsApp will add the Novi wallet integration to the app. However, the proliferation of the Novi wallet means that it will also become a common payment method for WhatsApp.
When Will WhatsApp Payments Feature Coming to Turkey?
Announced in 2018 and currently only active in Brazil and India, WhatsApp’s Payments feature has still not reached the expected level of prevalence.
It remains unclear when the Payments feature will come to the rest of the world, along with Turkey. Facebook first needs to expand this feature and fix problems in India and Brazil.
